Can WebEdition R10 be installed on a Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 ?
Answer
Although basic features of WebEdition R10 can run under Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008, we do not recommend to install it due to following limitations:
- 'Installation Helper' tool cannot be used to automate many of the installation steps due to missing Windows features
- Newly added features like 'Remote Enrollment' will not function correctly
