Symptoms:
(1) 3D AIR GEN2 shows the error : "Move upward/downward" while positioning the fingerprint and fail to capture the fingerprint.
(2) The 3D AIR GEN2 Sensor doesn't read the fingerprints at all.
Solution:
In most cases, this issue occurs because the 3D AIR GEN2 Sensor has lost its calibration data and requires re-calibration. Re-calibrating the sensor restores its operating parameters and helps ensure proper finger detection. This guide provides the necessary steps to perform the calibration and restore normal sensor functionality.
It can be resolved by following below steps:
(1) Perform LEDs calibration using ADMIN menu on the device
It's available under 'Configuration' → 'Maintenance' → 'More' → 'LEDs calibration'. During calibration please take care of following instruction:
(2) If it does not work, please repeat the process one more time after re-powering the terminal.
